The narrator’s keep the story afloat with a measurably good performance. The grandmother character is the saving grace IMHO. I would recommend this story to others.
Very nearly a 4 star story.

When I saw this book I jumped at the chance to listen to it for two reasons: 1) Kevin Pierce is one of my favorite narrators; 2) I’ve watched 2-3 true crime shows about this case and I was curious to see if there might be new information in the book. As for the first..
Laughably predictable. The set up of each character essentially telegraphs every thing they will do. Who will live, who will die, who will come for revenge and ultimately fail? The reason I purchased this book was because Kevin Pierce was the narrator. I absolutely love to listen to his voice. He has an unique way of bringing the story and characters to life. loved the book, Darth Akers completely surprised me at the end. Olivia had a coherent thought as well!

[This book was given to me for free upon giving an unbiased review within a set time period,I am no way affiliated with any creator/narrator/publisher] Ok so, sticking to my usual review style here is what I think of the book so far after going about half way. Joe Russell: New author to me, he..
I wasn’t a fan of all the timeline jumps but other than that it was a great book. I look forward to the next book in the series.
