nothing it was very good I truly enjoyed the book I love crime novels

Mr Goodwin can get you invested in the characters like no other author. It is a really great story, and of course Kevin Pierce narrating is gravy on the taters!

The romance and intrigue were engrossing. The characters are interesting and progress from the beginning to the end. The development of the battle for America was fierce and red/white/blue patriotism. The action never stops.

I bought the book series on sale so I decided to just drive through all of it. The dialogue reminded me of the 1950’s Western movie “Injun” talk. The narrator, I would read almost anything that he performed. That being said, I truly love the author. This is the first time I’ve ever listened to him, so I’ve completed all of his books all of the complete set and series and waiting with bated breath for the next installment.

this series started out good. the first book was enjoyable. good story, good characters, and great narration. second book started slipping into the inevitable unbelievable plot twists. by the third, unless you really enjoy endless poop and farther jokes, this story crumbles into almost unlistenable. good premise, good narration, but in my opinion, poor continuation..

Enjoyed the series and found it had some unique perspectives. Seemed the overall status of some of the characters was just a little unrealistic as they survived multiple severe situations that seemed to be impossible.

Deadens end characters who are still alive left to an unknown existence or fate (suspense) for a spinoff series?
