Erebus is a fantastic variation from the authors previous work , definitely worth a listen
An author of many talents

Ray Porter made this series tolerable. Without Ray this book is just simply boring. The plot drifts and there is not any real creativity to the story.
I’ve enjoyed every book in the series, but this book has been much more of a battlefield book than the others. There was a significant amount of time and Detail spent on each battle and preparation rather than the surrounding story and struggles. While I’ve loved this series I think this is my last one..
the story was presented well by Kevin Pierce, the characters were relatable and the circumstances believable. I will have to get the next book to find out where L.L. Akers is going to take the story. I have to mention that I received this book free of charge and in exchange for an unbiased review.
It was a really good read. the woman’s voice is a little annoying though. rip to those beautiful babies and mama.
I’ve listened to many post-apoc books and this one held my attention just fine. It was a little different than your typical “prepper” novel but still managed to offer some good tips. I will be buying others from this author, for sure.

I love the intricacies of the justice system, especially engrossed by the trial itself. Nothing that teaches me bores me. Steve Jackson does an exquisite job at introducing us to the characters. He did this so well with the victim that I grieved over the senseless loss of a sparkling lovely girl. But as with..
Actually became a little interesting after a while but the writing is poor and the narration made the poor writing sound even worse – let’s just say I wouldn’t pay for it –
I do not know which was muddier , the story or the characters. As soon as the author had 300 pages……done, I won’t be back.
This was a new author for me but it turned out to be a good choice. This story appears to have been well researched and deals with real life in a way that most SHTF books seem to forget. Well worth your time and credit. Can’t wait for the next one as this one is..
