This series is addictive. The story is so real and timely. I did find some of it to be gorey at times and teenage boy humor gets kind of gross, so this is not for the faint of heart. It is backwoods survival of the hillbillies. Death and destruction, guns and pride.
I believe the author could be amazing; however , except for the well timed humor, this was a total snore fest. I’ve heard better stories of horror, war and devastation, listening to gamers talking about their last gaming experience. That narrator though! He’s great.
