this was a good series and I really enjoyed. I was somewhat annoyed by Maddie. She would act like a child at times and it was annoying but other than that great storyline.
All that other journeys he went, I didn’t learn anything from his experiences. Blinked and smooth, and flickered words that became annoying.
Loved it. my favorite writes of post apocalypse fiction. the ending was gut wrenching.I have hope for the future of Connor and his crew.
This is a book that you must fallow closely, not an easy read. To many moving pieces, to many story lines in a tight place. Could have expanded the characters All In all a great read
Love this author and the storyline always hooks me and I can’t stop listening until it’s the wee hours of the morning and I have to get up early
He does most of his killing with a rifle and charges in to situations without setup, which is weird for a machinist who did covert wetwork. The daughter, Barb, has a terrible name and attitude. Who would choose to go by “Barb”? it’s like Blart, Glub, or Ploot. The author does a lot of build..
“This guy writes like a middle schooler,” said Max. “It’s infuriating to listen to,” said Sadie. “It’s like he has never read another author and learned how to intertwine dialog,” said John. “It’s endless conversations of one sentence followed by ‘said character,’” said Cynthia. “He somehow manages to make the great Kevin Pierce sound annoying,”..
Tom Abrahams really knows how to write a good old post apocalyptic story. Kevin Pierce can really narrate the story. You really feel like you are along side the journey. I highly recommend anything from Tom and narrated by Kevin.
