Plot not consistent, author does not seem to understand the topics that he presents in this book. Very generic, lacks decent character development, contradicting premises.

I don’t know how anyone can think they’re going to write a great book about the apocalypse when they have no capacity for understanding social change. I thought this might pick up after the first book, but the second drags down into monotony.The premise is okay but goes quickly off track with the introduction of crazy preppers.

I found the story fascinating in a macabre way. Helpless ittle children living under a cloud of intermittent disastrous drama is so wrong.

love the random humor…its perfect. Humanized the characters and makes it real life..not all gloom and doom

I love the fact that it’s not a solo survival story it makes a point to tell how he needs everyone of his family and friends for help.
