This book makes no sense

This should have been a stand alone book. The first two books were great but this one failed and falls flat.
It’s an interesting book, but way too melodramatic. There were some serious laugh out loud funny moments that were meant to be completely serious. The narrator is mid at best. He sounds like he should have retired about 12 years ago. If you don’t like this type of genre, you won’t get past the so-so..
I don’t hate the books, they’re pretty decent. I just keep getting disappointed with certain aspects and feel like he dropped the ball on a few opportunities with the characters. It’s like we build up to something that could be interesting and it deflates. I won’t stop listening though. Thanks.
Behond the curve is an addictive series, the characters become people you feel like you know. can not recommend this series enough.
I enjoyed the realistic portrayal of the story. The characters were all created well. I wanted to read more.
I enjoyed the story. Story moves very fast. Its a series you can read, listen to multiple times without story getting old. Cant wait to find the next book the author comes out with.
Ryan’s characters are as real as you or me, and when tragedy strikes, you feel grief. An amazing story and excellent narration.
Narrator is great, story is absurd. At no point do I care about any of these characters. They all think dumb things. They say dumb things. They all DO dumb things. By the end of book 1 I disliked Dan. By the middle of book 2, I wanted him dead. I prayed for the death..
Too many far fetched scenarios, one after another. No sense of realism. This story seems like a quickly put together ho-hum story. Nothing about prepping in it at all so far. I think I’m going to return it.
