Extraordinary post-apocalyptic novel drawn from an actual world ending possibility: a massive solar flare. Super engaging story, relatable characters and an awesome narrator. A perfect 10.
I think it would have been more interesting without the gory details of every stabbing, shooting, and beating.

If you’re looking for great dystopian fiction, you will not go wrong with the Borrowed World Series Franklin Horton does a fantastic job of weaving you into his world. I highly recommend!

Pretty good. one character seems to live longer than would seem realistic, but otherwise, good story.
It was a great take on end of the world style books. Can’t wait for the next book set.
This book was so full of decisions that no would actually make that it was actually frustrating to listen to. I suffered through the entire 4 books (got them all in a single purchase) and can’t recommend anyone else subject themselves to it.

this is the best series period. the writer leverages a setting in the mountains of western VA to show off the skills of the trained and prepared as well as the pain that those who are evil become in hard times. amazing writing that is both entertaining and educational.
