I ama Frankkin Horton fan who has read several of his books. In this case, I read the first book of this series a couple of years ago but moved on to something else. First book wasn’t bad, but I’m glad I kept going – it gets a little better as he introduces new characters…

When the narrator gets and expresses the humor of the author is awesome. Working on my second listen of this series and noticing small details I missed the first time. Good job guys, keep it up.

The Mad Mick series has become one of my all time favorite series. The characters are well developed and the storylines are original and enthralling. As I’m listening, I imagine if a movie is ever made based off the books, I picture Liam Nieson as the Mad Mick.

I listened to books 1-3. That’s all I can deal with. The thought of this is so scary. The scenarios are far removed from our everyday lives, and yet…within hours…the world we know could be over. Preppers have a point, but is that even enough in this scenario?
