Oh how it’s so hard to listen to this story. It seemed like it could be great but the narrator is just a no for me. The main character isn’t a 70 yo man and he shouldn’t sound like it. The women all sound like simple minded ditzy women with the inflection given to them…
Ended to soon! It would’ve been better if it would’ve gotten the women and children to a safe place before ending

The author gives the characters very believable life. From the heroic to the vile; all entirely human. The survival information is incredibly accurate in most cases. Absolutely recommend.
Great story with personable characters. A lot of detail to keep track of. The good guys come out ahead in the end regardless of their losses. I have read the entire trilogy twice so far and will probably read it again just in case I missed something.
This has been the best series it has made me laugh and cry and cheer for him and his crew

Great story, particularly like the support from selected scripture. Although completed several years ago it is timeless story still in 2025.
This series caught my attention from the first chapter and kept it till the end of the third book!Lots of action throughout the series. People protecting what is theirs. Well done.
