Why am I searching for why Charlie is gone and when did he meet Mad Mick?? You recap it in epilogue but it was never in book anywhere.

I was so surprised when I saw that Franklin had written a new book. I was so sure that his last Mad Mick was his last. The story was excellent, and I could not stop listening. In fact it was so good, I am going to listen again!

Look at how long ago the first book was written and compare it to everything happening in the world today. I had high hopes for this series. It’s right up my alley. But this series droned on and on. The story could’ve easily been told in one book. Also not a fan of all the toxic masculinity and bravado disguised as patriotism. Pass.

I wasted a credit on something I couldn’t even finish. Characters being in love instantly, 13 year old girl contemplating marriage, too much reference to sex. I’m not a prude but this just ruined the whole story for me.

Interesting idea but the hard right wing slant was annoying & the writing was elementary at best.

I’ve bought, payed for, and listened to every Mad Mick book, and loved them. This is some lazy ass shit. I mean, it’s still better than a lot of stuff, but it’s kinda shit. Granted, I was hoping for crossovers in the universe. Still, this is the worst Mad Mick.

What can I say? Franklin Horton does it again!! Great story with tons of action as usual. Kevin Pierce is amazing!! Hands down the best in the genre!!
