why isn’t the 4th and 5th book available from this series? I love listening to books not much of a reader.

I started with Horton’s “Borrowed World” Series and picked up the “Mad Mick”series with the 1st book 2018 release when Mad Mic came up in Borrowed World. From there, I read them in date order. That wasn’t really necessary because the author managed to separate them well, never giving anything away between the two series…

I thought the storyline was incredibly implausible. A few people against an army, and the few people always come out on top, over and over and over. Additionally, I felt the frequent references to sex and everyone lusting after everyone else right in the middle of fighting for their lives was entirely unnecessary and really..
I disliked how vigilante the main character was all the time, but I did like that they made the main character a regular guy. It would have been nice to see more realistic character flaws. But overall a fun story and listen.

I really enjoyed this series as a whole, but book 12 felt phoned in and unnecessary. Do yourself a favor and only listen to books 1-11.
I enjoyed every minute of this thought provoking book. It’s like a warning to those with ears to hear. I highly recommend this!

I was blown away by MONSTER, and eager to read more by the author. This is long , but none of it is particularly compelling. Kevin pierce is the best narrator I have ever heard, and makes me not want to listen to anyone else.
Very well, developed storyline and character development. Kevin Pierce‘s performance made the story come to life spent many hours enjoying every minute of this.
