I did not like the fact that guns took more precedence over nearly anything else in this series. I found that the majority of these stories revolved around guns and violence. Lots of violence.

Excellent storyline performance with memorable storyline and action. A solid post-apocalyptic plot based on trial nomadic bands warring for survival in a blighted lands. Very authentic battle scenes with duels and clashes. Think metal axes , clubs, swords and knives. And there are wolves! Ha ha

Important Book. Well done IMO. Gave enough detailed information but young people today may be looking for something more graphic. I hope not, but thats what the world has come to, – not to sound cynical – the ever-desensitizing world of violence, and things, and news, and internet, videos of crap-full of crap they think..

when I started this series, I wanted Randy and Jim to make it all the way to the end. then Becky popped in and I wanted her to survive. now after listening more to how they act, it would be very satisfying if all three of them bit a bullet. three most self-centered vile people..
Each book did not highlight anything new. It got quite boring in book three. I guess it was an interesting concept though.
