Listened out of desperation and somehow made it through five books. It’s frustrating having a main character who’s such a loser—falling for every trick and walking straight into every trap. I liked most of the story. It started slow but kept my interest till the end. Definitely recommend.!

Great characters, intense adventure. The knowledge in this series that I haven’t received in other stories, good information. Always love Kevin Pierce’s story telling voice.

I liked the portrayal of good and evil and that not everyone one was just out for themselves. Loved the twists

Easy to follow story. Not too gory but also not as realistic as I had hoped for.

Basic characters, weird dialog, just plain not great. Narrator isn’t that great in this book either. After coming from The Expanse series maybe my bar is too high. Maybe I didn’t give it enough time but if I’m not hooked by chapter 15, then I don’t think I would like the rest of it.
