Bittersweet and sour

I was a big fan already having read many of his books and loved Major Battle. Didn’t know how I missed this series and downloaded it as soon as I saw it and started listening. I’m a little freaked out that it’s set in Lake Mary where I’ve lived most of my life, kinda freaky..
The ending ALMOST saved this

I really enjoyed this series! They have been such a blessing to me! I have a few criticisms though. Mark Goodwin, please consider never using the word “pursed” to describe anyone’s lips. Runner up annoying phrases include, “knuckled his forehead” and “bit his/her bottom lip” Otherwise the story was excellent and encouraging in many ways!..
I think the author is a good writer but I don’t enjoy the story or plot. I am well into book two and it still drags on. There is too much internal arguing and fighting. I’d rather see them together fighting a common enemy. I don’t like zombie books but even that would perk things..
Flippin loved it!!!

I am late to this book- by 20 years or so. I understand there are some who argue this author is wrong. I’m not seeing their point. Dr Hodel had all of the necessary components in his life to be and do this, as well as the other numerous crimes described. If you don’t really..
