The premise and plot of the story sounded great but about 30 minutes into the listen there was a lot of God and religious talk so I pitched the story. If you’re super religious, this should be a great story for you.

I have listened to all the books in the Mad Mick book series. This latest book does not disappoint. I can’t wait for the next book.

Have enjoyed Franklin Horton’s writing and the narration is by one of the best. A great combination.

I like this author and his story. He does a lot of research and has ties to historical evidence to show hey this has happened before and will happen again. Prepare. Prepare. Prepare.

What is not to like about Mad Mick? And his family and friends who are righteous people of their “time”.

It’s well thought out. Mostly realistic in what would happen. Slightly depressing at times but has potential to keep going.

Excellent writing and narration. Could not stop listening . Highly recommend. Love the all the books by Franklin Horton. A+++++

It was pretty gory at times but interesting to hear the details of the worst crimes on record.
