Extremely interesting, and disturbing. The bad guy, George Russell, is so aggravating and hateful. I love post society dystopia. this is pretty much post apocalyptic porn for anyone that dreams of being prepared. not realistic for us normies, but fun to listen to and gives some lofty prepper goals/dreams.

The only motivation for all characters is hatred and revenge. The main characters end up behaving as horribly as the enemies they despise. I cared about the people so I finished the series, but it left me feeling rather sickened and depressed by what they became. I’m glad it’s over, I won’t be reading anymore..
The 1980s really sucked for homosexuals, which really helped this psychopath.
