Couldn’t take this seriously and didn’t care about the characters. If you dig anti-government doomsday prep, this may be for you. I couldn’t finish.
As a long time fan of apocalyptic fiction, I was disappointed by yet another author who can only see one demographic as the hero. The extremely Christian focus of this series detracts from the story.

As I grow older and watch our world change so fast, the post apocalyptic genre has become more and more abundant in my library. I can only hope that the knowledge I’m gaining will never be needed. These books all kept me so engaged. Narrator was great. His name is Jim, right? Gary? (wink wink)..
I have read several post apocalyptic stories and this one is another good one. It flowed well, was believable enough and had a fitting ending.
