I have listened to about 100 of these books. This one was written from a southern California college students view. It is a bit unbelievable. More the characters than anything else.

Overall it was a good series but the non stop sex talk and teenage love drama ruined the good parts and made it really hard to listen to at times. Not what I expect in a post apocalyptic survival series. Would not recommend. Kevin Pierce was awesome as always through.

Not that I’m a raving beauty or anything but after listening to this disturbing piece, maybe I should get off FB. As disturbing as it was, I couldn’t stop listening. Thank you Mr. Horton for always keeping me on the edge of my seat and Mr. Pierce was awesome as always.
love this series. listened to all of the mad mick first, it’s interesting seeing the story develop from another angle.

I have listened to many of these type of books and this series is at the top of this list. Detailed, creative, dark and brutal. Loved it.
Come on- why would a narrator be chosen who can’t do the characters accents except for an Irish lilt , or voices for that matter. Also all the male characters sound pretty much the same, except Mick & Barb – who have slight Irish lilts. But I would imagine if a character was straight from..
