I couldn’t stop listening! There were wonderful characters and really great storytelling! well worth your time!

It’s a beautiful dark and depressing look at the collapse from the perspective of the people who are most likely to survive it. I loved it.

All through the book the native Americans said ‘Life is a circle’… and it was!

Loved the Mad Mick series and that led me to listening to this one. Complete BS that I have to either remember every detail of the MM series in order to transition to book 9 or go back and listen again. Wtf.

Great book that lays out a proven framework for managing and scaling a growing company.

Excessive gore and torture. Didn’t finish the the last book in the series. I gave up after a scene where a broom was shoved up someone’s ass and said someone’s balls were snipped. If the story were better or the characters more endearing I could tough it out, but the story just devolved into torture..

I liked the tie to AI and hybrid beings. It started interesting but I just couldn’t stomach the needless cannibalism, gore, sex and hopelessness. Couldn’t finish the box set.
