Great narrative of what could happen here in the United States if we continue down the current path.

I have listened to a lot of these book and this was one of the better ones

I have listened to it many times. The characters are well written and it is refreshing to read about good people, in such terrible times and situations, still doing good.

This book just didn’t work for me. There was very little character or story development.

I really love these characters, they seemed very real. Excellent spirit of these believers. Thank you Kevin Pierce, great job!!!

I loved that he weaved other true crime stories into this story. I guess I will have to listen to his podcast now as well.

I do remember when this happened but this is the first I’ve read about it. This book is informative and detailed, well researched, and well-written–kept my interest through all of it! Great narration too!

The story started out great. All the characters just seemed to make stupid decisions. No common sense amongst all of them. couldn’t finish the story

Probably the most opinionated true crime book I’ve read. I believed he was guilty before I started from watching documentaries, etc but some of the statements in this book made me hesitate. Very, very biased against Powell and his entire family (minus one estranged sister). I still believe he did it, but definitely won’t read..
