Such a great story to be totally ruined by a change of narrator after book three, if you don’t mind a total change in character then get it, i wish i never started the series.
love the series so far wish the books where longer! but even with that great story tellling love it

I’ve listened to many books on surviving after an apocalypse, and this series was one of my favorites. I only wish I could follow their story as they continue to survive and build a new world out of the ashes and chaos.wonderful compilation of characters I didn’t think I was going to like the bouncing..

I enjoyed this story. I liked most of the characters and their development. What I did not like was the way antidepressants were talked down on. They were explained to be some horrible drug that make people stoned. As a registered nurse, I don’t think this is a fair description of these medications.
Same as all the other books… entirely TOO MUCH details explaining/describing the guns, ammunitions, artillery and… for the love of God… all the TACTICS, TACTICS, TACTICS! After listening to 3 books that were all 85% of the same mind-numbing descriptions, the 4th book was, YAWN, BORING!

I’ve enjoyed the entire series, but I really think this one has been the best so far. I’m not sure if it was just the overall story or what, but if it were a physical book I couldn’t have put it down. the Roadhouse and borrowed world series is my favorite but Mr. Horton writes..
The story and characters are interesting, but the political sniping and right wing talking points got so tedious that I stopped listening during the second book of the box set.
