The story is a lot of set up. But absolutely no action. And it’s so very, very predictable. I can’t recommend this. I listened to the story waiting for something to happen….and it just continually is about background and oh pity me what happened to me is so bad, blah blah blah.

This is true stories. Listening to this puts me in mind of 48 hours or shows like that. Its crazy to realize how crazy some people are in the world. There is several short stories in this book. Kevin Pierce does a great job narrating this book.

Not only did I love the story but I appreciated that it was clean of the filth yet action packed. I didn’t want the series to end

I already had all these individual books but I really love that Horton gives us the option to get them as one giant book so I can continue to keep it on play. Horton is the Best in this genre at spinning stories and giving us real characters you can relate to and who are..

it was ok, didn’t love it. A lot of back and forth in story telling.

No suspense, no excitement. The most detailed part of the whole book is about girlfriends infected knee.

I’m like most of your post Apocalyptic reads very realistic and immersive, as well as being separated very well character development is a plus as well.

I liked the area and the characters that were self reliant and just wanted to be left alone

It would serve mankind well to let the bears have their territory. I do not think that the bears should have been killed. When we were stationed at Eielson AFB, Alaska we had to attend a class about all of the dangers in Alaska. Jack Olsen did a great job of writing this story.

Good book, great author! Although this isn’t my favorite Goodwin book, it is a quality read and an excellent story. Mark Goodwin really knows his stuff! I would highly recommend the “days of” books. Days of Elijah is my favorite book series by Mark and is one of my favorite series of all times.
