Love the character development. Not overly gory or gruesome. Can’t wait to listen to book 2.

This is another great addition to the series. Of course FH decides to leave a cliffhanger on the end. Ready for the next.

Franklin Horton is in my opinion the author of the best post apocalyptic series I’ve read, and that is quite a few. Kevin Pierce is, as usual, quite possibly the best narrator in the business. They make a great team.

I enjoyed that there were no zombies! The writing and narration were top notch and the story is believable. A good look at how society can crumble and the evil that some people are capable of.

One of my favorite shtf authors. Can’t wait for the next chapter of this story
