Review from American Apocalypse Box Set →
Gary Olsen has written another gripping true crime story. The first chapter is a bit of drudgery, as it describes Houston in so much detail that I felt like saying, “Ok, I’ve got it already.” However, once the obligatory description is done, the story takes off and remains strong to the end.
One of the better survival series! Great story! Highly recommend! Very well written all the way through!
The story is interesting and the setting believable. The narrator does a great job. My issue is that I hate indecisive characters, waffling on problems that are both obvious and repeatedly pointed out. Problems that could have very easily been dealt with. It feels like it’s breaking the story rules and that gets under my..
not the most exciting story. very slow until the private undercover gets involved and nothing about the trail itself.
Great story. Sad. Amazing. Alarming. Genuine. You should listen to this book and the entire trilogy.
I have enjoyed EVERY single book in this series. So easy to relate to each character and love/hate them.
I bought this book by accident. I listened to it and it sucks. multiple coumtries.want to.take over America and steal.the women. Dumbest story ever!
Like many other audio books from this publisher, this recording has some issues that seem to be compression related. Whether Audible’s or the publisher’s fault, I don’t know. The performance is still good, overall. But there are times when the popping, hissing, or screeching are very distracting.
