Full of problematic narratives

This book hasn’t aged well. Lots of superfluous use of derogatory terms. At a few points the author refers to a Black character by “The Black” instead of his name. It’s an interesting story but the narrative is pretty cringey, racist and sexist.

Found this very enjoyable I thought started out with everybody spread out across the country and because the father had enough for Bob to get his wife and children through skills

Narration os on point. Storyline’s are great. Characters are well put together and easy to associate with. The fact that each book is stand-alone is true and an added bonus. Doc Konkoly and Marcus Battle sealed me in. Loved it!

Very Good but also repetitive

A lot of amazing information with a very compassionate view of the victim’s family. I enjoyed that the author used the victim’s first or full name, but didn’t seem to do that for the murderers. I may be reading into it too much but thought it was a nice touch. HOWEVER, the author repeats themselves..
