Books 1 and 2 were great, but book 3 is annoying. in book 3, the main female character is the typical dumb ass female who gets them in trouble with every encounter. She has to get her way. she can shoot people one minute then freezes the the next.
This was another great series, a credit to the author. Also another masterful performance by Kevin Pierce. Beck was a reluctant and multifaceted hero, his adventures were fantastic, and the end was bittersweet. …but, no epilogue? 😂
Overall, I give the set 5 stars. The last book seemed rushed. 4 books of building up to the 5th book. I felt like I was intrigued the whole time, which is hard to do. Definitely something different and refreshing.
