I have enjoyed Mark Goodwin as a storyteller. He has become one of my favorite authors. I love the way he brings biblical foreshadows to reality as you think about todays headlines. I love the scriptures intertwined with each chapter allowing the reader to research the Bible. Each book leaves you making a personal decision..

Excellent book, very good read as in listening to audio a never-ending highlighted moment to moments at every turn, considerable ambient thoughts to mind for the story.
First, why does everyone get pissed when a book is Republican or Christian positive? Go find an atheist Democrat SHTF book. Second, this was painful to finish. Everyone is a dumbass. Almost all the women fall apart or dismiss everything and are helpless. The men aren’t much better. I won’t continue to the next book.

The story line was creative and well told. The characters are well developed. Some are likable and some not so much, which makes the stories more than just about the disasters. I recommend it.

I have listened to this story twice now. I really like the way the leader is written a good example.
If there were negative stars this would get a negative 10. Extremely racist and assumes “good people” have strong survivorship skills.
