I was surprised by this book. Bought the 3 book set and sometimes the sale books are meditate best. Not this time. The story moved well. Not a lot of time spent on figuring out our feelings. The guy Redding the story nailed it. He was part of the success of this story. Well done…

This one unfortunately is like most of them. 1/4 (this had less) of the catastrophe, 1/4 picking up the pieces & regrouping and half fluff chaotic drama of internal and external conflict with a nemesis person or group that wants to take over for good measure. The story drones on and on with really nothing truly interesting, just factions un-aliving each other throughout the entire series. If the Mad Mick series was a 9, then I would give this series a 2 in comparison.
Great series! Really enjoyed the whole story and it was conveniently packaged together. narrator was great also.
I’ve been an avid reader/listener all my life. Present days have flooded the market with authors and access to all genres is easy. The downside of all this is simply finding the reads that are worth your time.This novel (trilogy), had a preface that appealed to me and I took the chance.I’m pleased I did!..

Overall, a very good book very well written Don’t understand how the cover says multiple murders. Only one murder. Kept waiting for the 2nd, never came.

I have listened to only Mark Goodwin over the last few months. I love his stories, style, characters, educational tips and narrator choices. Book 1 hate to say that I was glad Zoe didn’t last long……She was a drag.Book 2 to 4. I’ve known people like Debbie……shudder. Nice to see her ended.
