This was a great original story grounded in realism. it took a while to sort out all of the characters but once you get to know them, you love them.
You can always tell an amazing book when it has the ability to bring out your emotions through the loss of a character in the book. Once again Kevin Pierce brings this book to life in the way no one else can. awsome job to the author and the narrator!
For one, the fight scenes lacked imagination and details while the romance seemed overly done for a SHTF story. A woman would like this book for the romance. There wasn’t much of a climax and there really wasn’t even enough of a conflict or contact with FEMA to call it a war. Over all, it..

Another great story of triumph in the middle of adversity. It really gives perspective on what you will have to deal with in crap hits the fan.
