Loved it and I cried when his families passed. However, the guys who killed his second family, never said what Penny died from.

Very interesting story and information. Thoughtful writer. Straightforward. Could not imagine a better narrator. Very authentic-sounding and natural. Good listen.

I would listen to Kevin Pierce read a takeout menu, and Gregg Olsen is rapidly becoming the best true-crime author imho. Can’t wait for another pairing of these guys. Bravo.

Great narration of a very sad tale. Excellent. Had never heard of the killer until I listened to this book.

While this book is very heartbreaking, it was very well written and well narrated. Sad to see what alcohol, love and the need to be wanted/loved can do to a person.

I marked the book down to a 4 bra cause of the incorrect (lack of research) stereotype about coyotes. There is an incident where a pack of coyotes attacks several people at once and aggressively pursue the attack with multiple bites. This all happens in the apocalypse where the countryside is littered with dead human..

I loved this book and series by Bobby Akart. I also loved the characters. I can’t wait for the next book by Bobby. I would recommend this book and all of Bobby’s books. I listened to this book on audiobook.

I found it a bit difficult to keep all the characters, their situations, their enemies, and all the locations straight. I wish there had been less foul language (or none). Overall, it was a really good story line and it kept me interested and entertained. The author is talented and I hope he writes more..
