love the narrator ad the story. well written and great story line. highly recommend it

Did not enjoy the voices of the female characters to high pitched. None of the characters were very good actors. Too much time was spent on the baking competition versus plot development

Sweet story. Definitely worth the time to listen too. This really helped me to understand the sins of the fathers and father generations.

I felt like the narrator did not do a good job of the voices on Gabe and some of the others.

I knew these 30 tactics already but it helped me realize how severe it was when I realized he fit all 30. It helped me solidify my resolve to leave & understand that he isn’t going to change. It snapped me out of my denial.

I had so much trouble, figure out why I’ve been so confused and if it was me and my overthinking things and why I felt so confused this book was amazing and has helped me see so much. I thought I was going crazy. This book explained. Thank you so much.

Trite and not entertaining. Voices too breathy. Too many “surprise” turns. The setting was nice.

…but I enjoy a lot of Fitzgerald’s work, and these short stories are perfect for a work commute. I enjoy vintage writing because it gives an interesting peek into casual, daily life that in the 21st century we can only imagine. Bernice calling a man “fresh”! 😄
