What a spiderweb of emotions and history. Not many things make me squirm, this book did. Not your typical horror.
I’m not sure to what extent this was just bad or just not for me. I found the story to be terribly slow and extremely silly. McMahon’s prior novels have been much more successful creating an eerie, mystical, and potentially believable story(if you have a vivid imagination). Having dragged the story out too long, I..
The story was enjoyable. I learned a little history as well. The app repeated the same sentence a few times but for a included membership read not bad. Curious to see how it plays out.
Did not enjoy the narration and I almost did not continue past the first two chapters. Took several restarts and I managed to get to a part that became interesting to me and I finished it. Story was ok, a bit predictable.

Good for a beach read or casual readers. The audio was ok. The characters were not super likable, but there were a couple redeemable people.
I despise sci-fi. This book is completely miss labeled. It is definitely a sci-fi book. Please do not waste your credits unless you were a sci-fi fan.
As always, Jennifer delivers a suspenseful story that will keep you guessing. The ending is the best part of this story. Don’t miss a word. Fabulous author.
This was a little different than her normal books. Sometimes I got sci-fi vibes. But it was still good. Not something I’d want her to start doing but good for a change.
