I like long stories, but they must hold my interest. This one took a while to hook me, but it was a wonderful read when it did. It was full of examples of how the culture and religion dictated behavior over four generations. It made me think about the issues my own mother and grandmother..

I always appreciate stories that have multiple voice actors but I just couldn’t get past the voice for Stella. Thank goodness the others really seemed engaging. Storyline is very unique and interesting insight on Netflix’s biggest baking show (purely fictional). I do think this book deserves more stars than others have given it.

I was looking forward to this book but the narration is horrific, really had to force myself to finish it!
Easy listen. Not too clinical. Humble and helpful to better understand Gottman integration into couples work.

The generation bond between 3 generations is beautiful and the intertwined stories of each keep you guessing and leave you with a heartwarming sigh at the end of the book. Brought tears to my eyes
