I loved this book so much I listened to it again. I would recommend this book to anyone.
Outstanding Book
Review from Eve’s Daughters →
I wasn’t sure if I was going to like this story. But I enjoyed getting to know all the characters and actually missed them as they passed. The only annoying part was that you can plainly hear that the narrator had a bad cold during the first third of the book. But overall, I think..
I have read most of Lynn Austin’s books and absolutely love them. Eve’s Daughters may be the best. It is powerfully moving and thought provoking as she demonstrates God’s grace and redemption through the messes we make of our lives.
This book was a helpful way to under stand the way the brain works around anxiety but was lacking in any applicable tools for OCD outside of regulation.
Hope to meet this incredible couple one day as I’ve started my voyage towards sailing out of the norm thank you for sharing and being so honest with your successes and your struggles has given me a lot of confidence to keep going and keep learning again thank you thank you thank you
Out of over more than 350 books I’ve listened to in the past six years, I have not been as moved by an author before. I did have trouble with the narrator at first, but fortunately I was able to appreciate her talent as the story developed. I’m not a crier, this time I couldn’t..
The narrator’s reading is hesitant and she mispronounced words that she should have looked up before recording. The story may have been decent but with the bad reading style it was just too annoying. I had to return it.
I’m a picky reader, but this book did not disappoint! I love how the women’s stores all weave together the history of their time. But mostly I loved the message of Gods loving grace throughout all generations, no matter what mistakes we make. He is always there.
The human spirit to survive harsh, degrading circumstances, cruel influences in a young life, sprinkled with unfamiliar kindnesses ( when deciding to break free) defines this young girl’s life. Definitely a good read to press into .
