I loved the story intertwining the lives of four women through the years. The plot and characters are well written. The narration is wonderful.

I laughed, felt empathy, was surprised and cried all in the same book. I highly recommand. Very thought provolking.

Chapter 2 was the most useful. everything else was all right. it needed more examples.

This is a great book for anyone that wants to learn to protect themselves against manipulaters. It actually shows strategies used and you can actually use it as a mirror to look at your current relationships and to help protect your heart against people that are capable of hurting it.

Lynn Austin makes Emma, Grace & Suzanne come alive, not to mention Father Patrick and the fathers and mother’s in the story.
