Book has a lot of potential but esper puts this series in the garbage. Can’t even finish it. Only book I’ve read where 1 character can ruin an entire series. Wouldn’t listen to it if it were free let alone a credit

Always loved the Black Ocean series, JS Morin has not lost his touch. Mirth Mayhem feels like the Galaxy outlaw roots of the series.
I’d expect more for the student of Mort. When the she could do so much but instead she complains amd wines. And she has no reason for being the perfect, all seeing person she is. the only time I started getting to like Esper is when her magic was taken away.
