The author has a knack for creating the most insufferable female characters in his books that I have ever heard, Esper drags this story down immediately and Hiroko is absolutely annoying. Overall great story, narration is as usual fantastic.

I’ve listened to this as time allowed over the last few months. It’s made house work, exercise, cooking, laundry, gardening, and running errands fly by as I was partially in the Black Ocean while doing them. It’s a fun listen!
