This was recommended by someone in Facebook Firefly group. This has been a great story that feels inspired by Firefly. And they didn’t kill Wash!

It isn’t my favorite of Morin’s work, but it is well written and thought provoking. I can’t put a finger on why, but I went through these books quite a bit slower than his other arcs. Still, there is nothing wrong with them, and there are some really good moments throughout.

Great book but esper richelieu was my least favorite from the original books. she can be so annoying I sometimes wish this soon off followed anyone but her.

Nearly returned this book because of the terrible narration on the first 14 chapters. I mean it’s awful. Then the narrator gets his act together and the story comes alive and the narration becomes one of the best. I’m amazed at how one can be so terrible then so great. Stick with the book… It..

If you can ignore the nonsensical chime sounds every time a chapter ends you’ll be able to enjoy this audiobook. The story and character building was great but, for some reason, every time a chapter ended there was a horrible swishing chime sound that drove me nuts.

this book is 6 books for one credit. cant get mich better than that. was an engaging story and kept me interested the whole time. highly recommend.

I made it through two and a half hours, but I’m quitting. I’ve read a lot of quality sci-fi and this ain’t it. Over-written with unnecessarily complicated words, like some kind of college first-year trying to sound smart by using a thesaurus. 80+ hours ain’t enough, Eggaaddsss man, it cannot be over, I tell you this title is worth a trillion terras plus give or take 30 Mobius’s. tbh I was not a fan of warden esper and was rooting for mort! salty ol codger was my favorite!

The premise was intriguing, Firefly inspired, sci-fi, magic?? It comes together and creates a much more robust world that allows for more plot lines than your standard galaxy. I was not disappointed by a single story!

This is a mind-boggling fascinating concept for a book. I was worried I’d have trouble following with the multiple characters who was who who was where however the writer made it very easy to follow and very fascinating concept.
