I tried to get into this for eight hours but kept finding myself tuning it out because there was nothing interesting happening. There’s no real danger (everything is resolved pretty easily), no real intrigue (pretty easy to figure out what’s going on), and the characters are pretty boring. Not worth the credit, even for 70..

This amazing book is on par with the Firefly tv series if not better. This book will also quench your thirst for the space cowboy vibe that Firefly left hanging.

there are legitimately good characters, and the knight, the wizard, the dragons, the goblins and so much more are not what they are in most fantasy books.
Excellent storyline, wonderful narration. Working my way through everything JS Morin has to offer. Bought all the physical copies as well for my bookshelf.
