The first few books were “meh”, not bad enough to stop listening to and not good enough to get excited to keep listening… until I got to the middle of mission 3. That is when everything started to click in my head and after mission 3 I loved where the series was headed and thought..
loved the story, and the author made it relatively easy to track considering the complexity of stringing multiple planets and dimensions together. The wanton and random dealing of death to pivotal characters seemed a little unnecessary and at times was annoying, but other than that I have no complaints.
The greatest team since peanut butter and jelly: Morin & Naramore. They got me hooked during Galaxy Outlaws and continue to please in this great magical fantasy that unfolds slowly and subtly.
