Surprised to see this had no reviews at first, I took a chance on it. I’m very glad I did, as it was an entertaining, well-performed, and engaging story overall. It reads like a DnD one-shot through the lens of what I assume is the average demographic of this genre. I think many will find..
So to put it simpley most of the main characters that you see have certain “quirks” that make each one unique to themselves and as the story goes on those “quirks” begin to expand. For some of the characters it’s a good thing but for most not so much at least in my opinion. Wizards..
The story was great and the characters even better. The narrator was awesome. I already have another of his series queued up!
the book series started off strong but fell flat in the last book. While a lot of things made sense in the “we have no idea what we are doing so we make stupid choices” sort of way, it got to be pretty aggravating. At times it was hard to keep going through the books.
I found this book to be boring with no purpose or plot. Just a dead guy playing a game no substance to it at all. Sorry if this isn’t what you want to hear it’s just my honest opinion.
