Wizards in space best thing ever the concept is genius. I to miss Firefly. best series ever

I was looking for a sci-fi book and was recommended this read. Turns out I am not a fan of sci-fi/ fantasy fusion.

I absolutely loved the tales. Mort and Carl are such memorable characters and it’s easy to get caught up in their adventures.

I thought the story was refreshing and I enjoyed the humor. The narrator did a good job of portraying all the different people in the story.

A guy signs up to test a new RPG game. Unlike 99.5% of the other books with that plot, this one doesn’t diverge from that. I really enjoyed the character development of Brad/Carl and the intoduction of Tania was a bonus. Mort is a beast. Chuck is still Chuck and I really dislike Becky…. like REALLY dislike her. The writing was great and consistent to Galaxy Outlaws. Next box set already purchased.

I appreciated the thoughtful addition of characters to the crew and story archs for each of them. i was a firefly fan and glad to see the author honored the show.

You’ve likely already spent Soooo many hours in the Black Ocean! Why would you not want more?? Do it.

Full disclosure, this was a DNF for me. I made it 3 1/2 hours and just couldn’t stand the immature and stilted dialogue. Seems like this was written by AI, and not worth my time- imagine 85 hours of this drivel. The cartoon character delivery by the narrator, doesn’t help things either. Hard pass on..
