Usually when I get one of these long books I’m very disappointed. I enjoyed every minute of this one. Although the author mentions that he was inspired by the Firefly show, which I have never seen, I still enjoyed it immensely.

Not sure why science fiction authors have decided to fill their pages with garbage instead of just a great story, but there was just too much swearing for me. Go the fantasy route and make up swear words! Who the frack cares if your story is REALISTIC in that way?

I loved all the characters. it’s a nice long listen. however there is frequent strong language that made it problematic to listen to around the kids.
