It’s difficult to even convey this amazing this series is. You will not regret getting to know these amazing characters and following their journey’s. The reading is honestly the absolute best on audible, Naramore is a genius. Buy it, use a credit whatever, you won’t regret it.

Well worth the investment of your time. It took a little getting used to during the first story (magic mixed with space travel) but it worked really well once you accepted the premise. The narrator was very impressive. His ability to create individually identifiable characters solely by voice inflection was amazing.
My father an I like to get into a series and talking about it as we both read. There aren’t may that have made the cut for us but Black Ocean has been fantastic! I recommend it highly. It’s immersive, fun, dramatic in the right ways, and you’ll miss it when it’s over.

I absolutely enjoyed this series so much! It doesn’t get overly technical with anything but still feels like there is a set of rules that governs magic. I grew attached to all the characters especially Mort. I would definitely recommend this series to anyone. I feel like comparing this series to Firefly doesn’t do it..
