There were a lot of sexist undertones to this book. And some of the stories were painfully simple and predictable. But it was good value and entertaining.

It’s like Firefly with space wizards and aliens. This is NOT Firefly, but it gets a lot of the feel, and all of the heart.
timed the ending perfectly. narrator is outstanding. sit back and enjoy the ride. don’t cross the wizard. ever.
Think Firefly but better in every way. This series is what i imagine would happen if you took the beloved Dragonlance characters and dropped them into a world of spaceships and a mature “Bobiverse”. If you’re a fan of Firefly, Omega Force, Scalzi, Undying Mercenaries, with a little Fred the Vampire Accountant thrown in, no vampires, but the weird buddy genre.., you will love this. 85 hours, and sure, some things I wished went a bit faster, weren’t there, or were serious when I wanted mirth.. but not once..
