This is a fantastically written book following a quirky crew of loveable outlaws. It seems as this entire book is a fan service for sci-fi and fantasy fans alike! I just wish there was more!!
Just another sci-fi series. Not remarkable. It is a lot of book for the price of one. I cannot agree with other reviews comparing it to the Firefly tv series – it isn’t even close. Note: Editing is terrible and in few books of the series first chapter is played as last. Really needs correcting.
great storyline. character build up started a little slow but had me smiling by the end. keep up the good work folks!

Spectacular! I would have never imagined and better combination of magic and sci-fi. Hey need to make this in to a TV series!
this is, by far and away the best audiobook I’ve ever listened to. thank you for this wonderful, wonderful story and memorable characters. truly a spiritual successor to Firefly.
This was a very fun book. The author explains at the end that he used Firefly as inspiration and it shows. Fun characters and improbable feels. I loved it.

J.S. Morin has created a rich world filled with shifty, but fun, characters. I bought this because I like the genre and it’s 80+ FREAKING HOURS! It was great! It was Firefly meets Spelljammer meets Joe Abercrombie like dark heroes. And Mikael Naramore’s narration was absolutely top notch! If you like spaghetti western style space..
,..and I am enjoying the chance to get into the character development. Great series! Not typically into this genre, but am really getting onto this one,
Firefly + Star Wars + a smidge of Dr Who +…Ok. So ALL the sci-if fandoms are represented. This is absolutely the best 85 hours you ever spend!
