I’m about a quarter of the way through. Don’t remember “Mikey” in the older books. He likes his hair braided and wears skirts. Might have to return this political garbage.
The Author has taken the blue pill.

The fantastic reader brought the story alive with all the different rich characters. I did have issues with the long book in my audible app and had to re-download multiple times to listen but well worth it. I’d recommend this book. Excellent.
This story does a great job of conveying the deliberate nature of mech games like Battletech or Mechwarrior. It doesn’t bury the listener in pages worth of stat blocks, keeping the numbers succinct and to the point. I think this is one of the best mech stories I’ve read in the last three years.
A lot of characters to get use to, which was overwhelming at first, but I came to enjoy it once the story actually started. It starts off innocently enough, nervous dates and bonds of friendship, then builds into a juggernaut of death and devious plots with a pretty solid ending. Kyrus is a solid lead..
Another fantastic Audio book by Morin and Naramore! Engrossing story, loveable cast of characters, and genius writing…even the subtle humor is awesome! Obviously we can’t see the text , but I caught the Simpsons humor in story 15 and I believe the spelling of the place Mort mentions is “Yvan Eht Nioj” 😆 Very fitting!..
A bit like Asimov Robot books. Interesting take. I enjoyed a lot of exciting moments. The performance was excellent.
I am a huge fan of litRPG and have read most of the big names in the genre. I’ll be as fair as I can be by saying if you like the style of first or second edition Dungeons & Dragons modules, you will love this book. The writing is polished, the concepts are solid,..
I was engaged and interested in the story and characters throughout. It was a fantastic value for 1 credit.
Galaxy outlaws was great, Mirth and mayhem is excellent! The full story of Mordechai The Brown is an excellent follow up listen to Galaxy Outlaws, where J.S Morin fell short in Mercy For Hire, he completely redeems the the Black Oceans Saga in this epic fast paced in depth space adventure. A must buy!!!
