I think I’ll read this, rather than listen. The whispering voice just does nothing for me. He sounds whiny and soft instead of strong and Dominant which translates into pathological rather than sexy. The D/s is contrived and under developed. I’ve always loved Huss’s books but this one is hard to get through.

I love everything JA Huss, but sadly not this one. I hated the female lead so much, it killed it for me. The female narrator was equally as awful. I stuck it out and read it all, and it absolutely improved as it went on, The male lead and narrator was what kept me going.

I loved this story – sexy, heading spinning twists, and a dark intense plot. The narration does make this book somewhat difficult to enjoy; two very headstrong, intense, vibrant characters voiced in almost whispers is disconcerting during the action – but for me, it’s another JA Huss tour de force.
