the characters and the dialogue just don’t pull me in in any way. it’s just not an interesting story.
Many reviews complained about the narration but I love JA Huss stories so I gave it a chance. When the make narrated I sped the narration up to 1.2. For the female, slowed it to 0.9. It made for a perfect listen. Was it a pain? Yes. But the boxed set story was so worth..
The male reader sounded like an old man not a hot young movie star. Ruined the story for me.

….. buttttt Mark Kamish was the completely wrong narrator for Vaughn Asher! In my head all I could picture was a 50 year old man with dentures that wouldn’t stick all the way! It was so hard to get past his voice!
