The Author’s presentation of the Spiritual Content is inspiring; the Historical Context gives overall Present Day Meaning. And the Narrator’s Impersonation of the many characters is Wonderful !

Author comes to the conclusion that there were a lot of things that played into the murder of many Jews. I would recommend skipping to the last chapter.

Extremely simple, incredibly beautiful writing from on of the most Reverend doctors of the Church, Alphonsus Ligouri. I highly recommend this to anyone in the middle or advanced places of their Spiritual life St. Alphonsus Ligouri, ora pro nobis!

details of the book and what happened are incredible. still a hard subject to read. not sure I could do the research myself and be the same type of person. actually I don’t think I’m the same type of person after reading the book. amazingly hard to speak the truth what happened

This book is life Changing as it puts life into perspective and properly ordered. Out of my entire library, this is there most profound! I can’t listen to it enough times!

what humans are capable of is disgusting and heartbreaking. learning about what ordinary men can do without being radicalized is crazy. this book helped me to appreciate this. a great read with no happy ending.

We really enjoyed using this audiobook in our history homeschool lessons. Parts of it is from a catholic perspective but this can be adjusted to explain your own family beliefs.

So grateful these courses are on Audible. Anthony Esolen is marvelous. I’ve enjoyed how he unpacks Dante’s beautiful work.
