This book was an interesting read. It contained lots of detail, but did not venture too far away from what is written in the Bible. I recommend it as a read-through and even as a reference.

My only disappointment was that it was not longer. I was left longing for more of Benedict.

I enjoy most of the writings from Saint Louis de Montfort. I just finished the 33day consecration to Jesus through Mary by him. This was nice to read after that.

The book is extremely well written. The narrator is also genuinely the perfect guy for the job. This book covers how regular policemen would later become extremely ruthless killers that would personally destroy thousands upon thousands of Jews. Great book somewhat spoiled by narrator who makes it too much about his own dramatic reading skills. He never misses an opportunity to adopt various accents appropriate to the occasion, and even to imitate certain famous people, as when quoting Ronald Reagan.
